Though I give star ratings for books on Goodreads and Amazon, I don’t do that on this website. I actually loathe that type of rating system. I much prefer to write a detailed review of the book instead of giving a few stars and a couple of measly sentences. All my reviews will highlight the merits of the story as well as include constructive criticism. Also, please keep in mind that there might be spoilers in these reviews.
If you’re an author and you disagree with my review of your book, please do not take it personally. I do not write anything negatively as a personal attack, and I apologise if I upset you. My review is about the book, not you as a person, and I will not rescind my review just because you don’t like it. Please don’t waste your time contacting me to complain, it won’t change anything, just forget about it and move on.
