I haven’t posted for a while, but today I thought I’d update on what I’ve been up to. I have started writing book two! I am just over a third of the way through so far, still a long way to go before it will be ready and published, but I’m very excited about it.

Currently, the working title of the second novel in the Danethrall series is “Rise To Fall”. It follows Aveline and Vidar in their new lives as Jarlkona and Jarl (respectively) of Aros. A feud, a duel of honour, revenge killings, raids, and the 885-886 CE Siege of Paris are only some of the things Aveline faces. There is a lot more mysticism in Rise To Fall, with the inclusion of seiðr, a form of Old Norse magic and shamanism.

Again, I’m only a third of the way through, there is still a long way to go. Somethings could change, and I don’t want to give too much more away, so I’m ending this post here. 😛
